** Tail rotors belong on the left side of the ship **

The engineers had a "duh" moment after they made the Huey, realized that the tail rotor was much more efficient pulling into clear air, Ron. A little reminder that lift comes from the top of a wing.

The Cobra cockpit is complete except for instruments, all gone. Battery and electronics compartment empty, main harness cut, no T/R driveshaft. Got rocket pods and a mounted 20mm cannon under the chin. Got engine and tranny, rotor head and blades, etc.

The guys have mannekins in flight suits and helmets to place in the cockpit, and they're going to run a low-voltage circuit to light the nav lights and cockpit at night. Gonna repaint the ship in the next couple of weeks, and I told them I'd do the markings for them to match a photo they have of the ship when it flew with B/1/9 in Vietnam.

The A/C who rode it in is coming to town for the dedication in September. They may have a line on the PP and the CE, also.
