Coin Bezel Source

I found a fellow who sells bezels to hold our coins. A bezel is the ring that attaches around the outside of the coin so you can turn it into a necklace (I guess "pendant" is the right word) or a charm, or simply hang it up somewhere. I'm not sure that the bezel I bought would stand up on a key ring, though.

Ed Proffer at Flintski Jewelry, Grenada, Miss. His website is http://www.flintski.com and he's got chains and other stuff to go with the bezels, reasonably priced. He filled and mailed my order the same day I placed it.

You want a 40mm X 3mm bezel for our coin. He's got several styles in both sterling silver and gold. I got a sterling silver one, not sure how it would look on the bronze, and it looks fine. Gold one would probably look even better.

The 40mm bezel is slightly loose on our coin. Tell him it's for the 119th challenge coin and Ed will send along a shim that you can cut in pieces and slip in around the edges to tighten it up in the bezel, or you can just put some thick tape around the edge of the coin and trim it flush before you put it in the bezel.
