Coins Sold Out

Our first batch of coins is effectively sold out. I am holding a few for friends or family who surface or who we discover in the future, and I know that a couple of the other guys are also, but we will need to reorder shortly.

Future coins will be epoxy-coated, which means that there will never be coins exactly the same as those in this first production run. You'll always know, if there's no coating, that the coin came from the first batch minted. Epoxy makes sense for two reasons: to protect the paint and the coin, and to make them different from the first minting.

Future coins' production cost will be about $4.10 each including the epoxy coating (at 80 cents per coin) and freight in, in batches of 100, so I'll price them at $5 each plus $4 flat mailing cost for Priority Mail, any reasonable quantity. If anyone is interested in 5s or 10s or 20s of this new batch, please let me know soon and I will adjust the production order upward. Otherwise, I'll just bring in 100, keep them around, and mail them out when somebody wants a few.

Or maybe I just turn them all over to Bob Taylor, he charges $10, and we start a slush fund to help out some of our pals?

By the way, if anyone wants to order production quantities direct from the supplier, you are absolutely welcome to use the die, which is already paid for. I will be happy to tell them it is okay with me under the one condition above: the coins must have some change, however small, (such as the epoxy coating, or a small color change) from the first batch minted, so that we can tell them apart.
