Thanks for the information.

I have been corresponding with Rex and trying to assist him in getting all of the awards he earned. It's tough, but we are giving it a valiant effort.

Captain O'Sullivan was still in command of the Croc guns when Mr. Hewitt and
Mr. Chase died. I was "platoon leader trainee, not yet even a PIC," at
the time. However, about eleven days after 594 was shot down, I became PIC and
platoon leader, close to Kevin's DEROS date.

In the eleven months I commanded the platoon, none of the Crocs died in
combat, or otherwise, though almost all of us were wounded, including
yours
truly.
