good catch. I have lots of Viet buds and some of them are back to doing business there. I'd bet my butt that patch was made last month. Also you have to watch the "old" ones.
Back in my 101st days, we'd have VC flags made, lay them on the ground and run over them with a weapons carrier or duce and a half. wash the mud off a bit and trade them to the USAF in Danang for stuff we needed. I am sure a lot of "genuine VC Flags" are products of my company scroungers. I would bet money that damned patch is a fake. None of the colors match our old vegetable dyes from in country. and no one in their right mind would pay 45 bucks for one. you have some commie ring and an old arvn making money off your emotions. I say let it die and let them eat the damned patch.
