Hovering with the skids on the rotor blades was a stunt to my knowledge, first performed by Baby Huey. I think it was June 68. The L.Z. was so tight it was the only way to get the crew out. Everybody was talkin about it when I first started flyin with the 119th. Course I didn't know who Baby Huey was at the time but I was soon to find out. Touch
