Papasan- don't feel like the Lone Ranger-

I've found (via Yahoo Search) and spoken with three '69-70 avionics guys in the past week, with whom I'd not been in contact since then. All three were VERY STRAIGHT TROOPS. Most of us were around each other most of every long duty day, or on guard, or in the hootch where most of us lived. Mucho familiarity, but...their memories are all but shot when it comes to names. They were all surprised I could tell them their middle initials..and if they gave me just a minute, their SSNs (I cheated- I have orders- haha.. ) but they all had a hard time remembering me, and are mostly at a loss for names of most of the guys we saw every day... hang in there-- maybe it's not to the same extent for some folks, but I remember more of '70 now than I did thirty years ago.

Someone here (Frito, for sure) has the '70 yearbook, (an original) and I have a copy of a copy of a copy... if ya want, shoot me an addy backchannel and I'll make one for you.

The pics must have been taken in the few days between your departure and my arrival- neither one of us is in it !
