Flight,

Lorraine (The First Lady) is in Florida getting her parents packed up and ready to come back north for the summer. I spent the day with other family members for the annual Easter gathering. I found out when I got their that the son of the Hoast was leaving that day for Marine Boot Camp. He was picked up at about 6:00pm and is heading for Paris Island. All of a sudden A festive occasion became very sad, it stirred up many memories from the past and made the rest of the day difficult for me. Rob the father is a Vietnam Vet and we have a close relationship so we went for a walk and talked alot about the past. Their was no way to ease the pain he feels but I know he is strong and will get through it. Before Wessley left I gave him one of our Coins and explained the meaning of it. I know his future will be determined by someone other than our family but we will still pray for his safety every day.

His chosen MOS is Logistics, not that means very much. I know he will be placed where the need is and he will answer the call.
