Sorry to report I just heard that Julia Moore, wife of Genl. Hal Moore, passed away earlier today at home with her family in Auburn, Alabama.

She considered the 7th Cavalry her family.

She was some woman.

Our friends:

Julia Moore passed away peacefully today at 12:45 (CST). All of us were together and loved her very closely all day long. As always, she was sweet and wonderful.

We will post you on arrangements later. We are looking towards services on Thursday morning 4/22 here in Auburn, with burial with the 7th Cavalry in Fort Benning later that day.

Dad requests that no flowers be sent either to the home or to the church, but that donations be made to:
