Army logic at work again. They said that since his results won't be ready until tomorrow, they probably won't be able to get him in for surgery on Tuesday if he needs it. So, they discharged him this evening, and will re-admit him either tomorrow or next week for the surgery if they determine that the cancer is lung cancer.

My grandmother flew in tonight expecting that Dad would have surgery on Tuesday. We didn't tell Dad she was coming, so it was quite a look on his face when she woke him up at 11:30pm.

Overall, he's doing OK. I'm happy to have him in his house, even if it's only for a short visit before his return to the hospital. I needed the break anyway. I don't have the patience for Army hospitals anymore.
