Kansas was sort of neutral with some going for the North and some for the South. BUT, Misouri is where Jessie James and the Cole brothers were from, hard core Southerners well after the war. I didn't say anything about the competency of the Presidents, how they got there or what their politics were, I just stated where they were from. I couldn't agree more that Johnson, Clarter and Clinton were the worst presidents that this nation has ever suffered through. Their lack of knowledge and ability to lead is the stuff of legends of stupidity.

Bush Senior (41) was not defeated by Clinton, he was defeated by a devided party due to Ross Perot. Clinton got 43% of the popular vote in 1992, Perot took many of the conservative votes that otherwise would have put Bush back into office.
