Happy Birthday VIVIAN SCHMITZ your son is in Americia!!, Paul arrived in Walter Reed some time over night, the last we heard from him was in Germany, said that he was to be in Reed by 5:30, didn't say p.m. or a.m. didn't say which,he was so drug induced that the was feeling no pain,Paul said, 2LT Armeni was there but they wouldn't tell him anything (hepa) Paul has some feeling and slight movement in one leg, in the other he can feel pressure when touched, to be expected with this kind of wound.As a family we joked and laugh last night, sure did feel good to be able to do that again.stacie just arrive here from a twelve hr. drive from Georgia, she is asleep now and will be flying to Reed this afternoon from Springfield at about 2 P.M. local time, as for the coins, I have some that I will be giving out to Armeni and Mac Fadden when I see them at Ft Lewis, in Nov.
Paul said that when he was Iraq just after surgery, Col.Rounds Battalion commander and LTC James came to see him and give hime his Purple Heart, and their command Coins, paul asked James If the purple heart would give him any points, James said What? Paul said "I'm supposed to go before the board tommorrow",James said "Oh don't worry about that right now". well I heard from Mac Fadden who was going up for e-5, he told me that he got 147 points before the board, and that paul got 150 points and he wasn't even there, I don't know if that means Paul got e-6 or not.
My daughter just call and said that Paul is delayed, he is now to arrive Walter Reed 7 p.m. their time,the lady their, said that all is set up and ready for him and stacie to arrive all she has to do is check in at the admissions desk.
