Bob..careful, now. Kerry is going to allow stem research to proceed at Fed. expense "which Bush has not". When challenged on THAT statement, it turns out Bush HAS ALREADY allowed it. He just limited the Fed money that could go into it.
Many private researchers have already been researching this vast scary moral/immoral area without gov't assist and had major breakthroughs. This is not put in the papers and on TV due to it's cutting edge of moral issues. The anti-abortionists and right wing conservatives would be out with their guns and flags waving at each lab., if they knew what had been done so far.

Kerry says "da%$ the torpedoes..full speed ahead" this research is too hot to stifle (or words to that effect). I am so happy..maybe they can grow me some new brain cells and sure would like a new suit of skin. Let's see, the Kerry spokesperson put it this way: "Wouldn't you promote the use of human embryos in place of mice if it were your child that was going to get the benefits of this new research?"

Not sure if I would get to grow my own embryos for this but am sure today's teens and welfare moms would help us with no trouble in obtaining enuf research material.

Looks as if this whole campaign is built the same way Mike Moore built his movie. For every statement, movie or book covering an issue,there seems to be an opposite one. When it gets down to it, the best looking and smoothest talking one will probably get the most votes despite all issues of real importance to the country.
