I do have printed orders for 2 AAM's. The other 3 AAM's I have copies of the approved requests that were submitted for the orders to be created. All but 1 of those has an order # written on it. I have signed certificates for all 5. I realized that one of the AAM's was submitted as an ARCOM and the jerk off Major downgraded it.

I do not have orders for my Southwest Asia Medal. I looked hard for anything that had orders of me going or coming but I can't find anything. At the time, 1st IDF was deactivating in Germany and when the unit deployed it was a real mess. When I came back it was via transport and whoever could fit in the back with the pallets of broken parts and engines could head home. I do have an impact award for the time I was there, that's all I could dig up.

I also have micro fische of my personnel file but I have no idea what's on it since i don't have a reader. Trying to locate on so I can see if there is anything on it that shows my deployment.

I think about it now and I remember going over all of this paperwork when I outprocessed. I never paid attention though, just show me where to sign so I can leave.... foolish.
