Hey folks....

On Aug. 18th I took Lumpy up in a Diamond-air 20 which is the same type of aircraft that the U S Air Force just ordered for the Air Force Academy..... Any way I rented the fast and fun plane and picked up Lumpy and gave him a little stick time starting with him stearing us up to the active runway...after a few close calls, we made it to take off position and made our check of pre-flights and took off...Lumpy did a fine job getting us up to about 6,000 feet in the airspace close to Washington and we did slow flight, steep turns and some approach work....All in all he had a great time and I think he wants to go again....The DA-20 is a fast plane (130kts) and burns only about 5gph.....handles like a fighter and is just a GREAT plane to fly...TILL NEXT TIME....take care Kenny
