Well it seems as tho Paul was to go up before the e-6 broad on thur. the 5th the day after being shot. well LTC Buck James (the unit Commander) took a pair of Pauls boots into the board and set them in a chair facing the members and said " this is Sgt Schmitz, Do you have any questions for him? the board said "no" LTC James said "good give him the max 150 points" well we heard last night that Paul has all the points needed to be promoted to Staff Sarg. E-6 and will receive the promotion..plus I just got off the phone with Paul and he said that today he walked the length of the Bars turned around on the left leg and walked the length of the bar again and turned around and set down. total length of walk was about 20 feet...
