Hi Everyone,

I want to second (or would that be third?) the emotion regarding preserving your life history, including your time in Vietnam. If you haven't done a good job of preserving those memories (letters, photos, etc.), now is the time. Be sure to use photo-safe products (acid and lignin-free). You can treat old letters with a preservative too. You can also scan letters and photos and save them on your computer. I know this is time consuming stuff, but your ancestors will love you for it.

I also just want to say thanks to those of you who have passed on my info and have helped me find seven guys (so far) who knew Raleigh. I am so grateful for the kind words and stories that have been sent my way. His Memory Book is growing daily and our entire family is indebted to you for that.
