I looked at all 105 pages of feedback for the seller, Paul- and thoroughly read all the "neutral" and negative feedback--there were several allegations of items not being as described, to downright fakery. Ebay statistics lists only 5 "negative" comments, but I counted at least twenty.

The seller's responses to each one I saw were denials and insults.

I'm not at all surprised at the appearance of this item...and I'm no expert. So many items are described as having been "made in Vietnam"...

I'd say most of it was made very recently, likely by slave labor.
