Update on Gomer

Hi, guys! Don't have much time here, but wanted to give a quick update on my dad. He is seemingly breezing through chemo and radiation, but we have been warned that the symptoms really kick in in the thrid week of chemo, so we are dreading next week.

Dad has had some fainting episodes and some stuttering, etc. They were afraid his prostate cancer had spread to his brain, but they did an emergency MRI of his brain today and found nothing. We don't know why he's having the problems he's having, but I'm putting my money on medication and stress.

Overall, he's doing OK. He's losing weight, but he's still able to eat everything, so I'm not too concerned yet.

Paul - I am so pleased to hear that your son is doing so well. It's good to see the power of prayer. Lots of love from Dad & I both.

OK, I need to go to bed. I need to take my mother in for surgery AGAIN early in the morning. I'll try to be around more often, though it is difficult. I've been to 7 doc appts this week, and none were mine.

Oh, and Shoofly, don't think I am not going to respond to the comment you made to my dad about me. I'm overwhelmed, but I'm not dead.

Good night, all.

Stephanie
