I just wanted to say thank you to all who have responded to my original request for information about Eddy. Prior to creating a user profile I posted a response to a couple of the postings in regard to Eddy. I spoke with Brenda, Eddy's wife and told her about this website and of the information that you guys have been so gracious to share with me. She was excited. I was too young to remember Eddy and until the past few years, have never really desired to know more about Vietnam and the other wars. I was not drafted and as a young person did not volunteer to serve in the military, but would willingly do so today if needed, but I do love America and I appreciate those who have, are and will fight for my rights. Some of you have laid your life on the line to secure the freedoms my family and other Americans enjoy today. It bothers me when people speak bad about this country and belittle those who have fought and died to give them the right to speak. The U.S. is not a perfect country but, I am persuaded that she has been blessed by the Lord and is the greatest country in the world. As I said before, I have not fought the physical war but, I am contending for the spiritual war that is raging among us. I pray for this country, for the service men and women who are fighting the physical battle, for our government leaders and for others who have a spiritual burden for America. So, I thank you all and most of all I thank the Lord for allowing me to be an American and a child of God.
