Larry put my wipers on top of the metal arm that was supposed to hold the wipers down and they wouldn't work. I had learned to never use them anyway. Too many of the school aircraft were scored beyond visibility and us students had to fly them. They were generally the aircraft at the Tactical training sites and we had more solo time there. It was tough when you couldn't see where you were going.
