at the risk of sounding like a braggart, back at Holloway I was relatively well-known for my ability to "sense" incoming, to the point that (I SWEAR) I actually heard mortar rounds going DOWN the tube one night when we got hit from behind the ARVN compound and 'Yard ville across from the front gate-- one night on CQ at HHC, I picked up the phone and called CPT Howard Wilson (Lord rest his soul-- he was formerly 119th) in his hootch and told him we were about to receive incoming..
after several rounds impacted off the flight line, he ran into the Orderly Room and gave me a look that made me think he though I was in cahoots with Chuck.

anyhoo, based on recent posting traffic, I think we're REALLY ABOUT TO GET OVERRUN HERE.
