Tim, seconding what Paul just told you, we are all the winners this time. The coin is just something we all can wrap our hands around; it has a value all out of proportion to its cost.

Hard to express, and I presume to speak for all of us, but we have carried a piece of your uncle and his crew with us since 1968. The coin is simply something recent and concrete for us to hang onto that reminds us of so many things.

For you to show up here in 2004 and receive a 119th coin for your family from us through Paul is so meaningful I cannot make the words.

What it boils down to is, with this simple coin we all now have something we can wrap our hands around, something solid, something that reminds us of our friends alive and dead, where we were, what we did, those we lost, those we remember, and those we have unfortunately forgotten.

Bottom line: We're all glad you showed up, and we are honored that you can pass our sentiments along to your family. I don't know how to sufficiently put that into words.
