This hurricane aptly named after a male. Some of the species seem to constantly cause trouble for us helpless little females. Here's hoping our bunker is half as good as Tom's. Everything is closed and boarded up around town. We didn't do the "board" thing cause plywood bought out and we oculdn't lift is and attach it, anyway. Will have to pull the electricity in the next day or 2, I guess. Good thing I already have a contract to replace the roof. Just hasn't been done yet.

Everyone was headed out on I-10 til it bogged down with the Mobile traffic that is also trying to leave town. Got lots of food, etc. If only I would stop getting into all those munchies! Might have to drink someone else's beer and just chill out. Yuk, then it would be awful..no water to clean up my barfed mess.

Better get all the homework done before have to escape into a closet or something. Hopefully, will be on line thru tomorrow or more. Got to keep a watchful eye on some jester's on here and get edyoukated.
