Don't ever worry about getting on here and asking for help. I don't know if there is anything I can do, but if you think I can, send me an email with your phone number and I will give you a call. I'm sure the other guys would be better ones to talk with your Dad since they can "talk shop" with him.

My Dad had altzheimers and that was very frustrating for the family to go through, especially my Mom. I was in the Military still when he started developing it so when I got to see him again, he's was at the point where he probably didn't know who I was. He would get violent at times and caused his share of problems. It was a real shame, he worked VERY hard his entire life to take care of a wife and 8 kids. Then to see it all slip away when he should have been, so deservingly, enjoying retirement. The guy worked 7 days a week for as long as I can remember.

Life is a funny thing. No matter how much control you think you have over it, the reality is we're just along for the ride. Sometimes it's a hoot, other times it can really sucks. No matter what though, no one that has come to this site has to go through any of it alone. That's why we're here....

Any chance your Dad would get on line here ? Does he have a PC ?
