it has all you will need to know to "find it yourself", but I'll not leave you hanging...

You will need to know the map sheet which applies to the area of the Plei Trap. Someone here may remember...some were in it a lot... if not, it can be researched online, I think on RJ Smith's site..

If you wish to begin, the Plei Trap Valley is NW of Pleiku, very near the Cambodian Border, and delineated on the map by a pair of long and parallel mountain ranges running approximately north and south. Someone here can give you a better general orientation to it than I can, in that I was never there. I do read maps well, as I did survey for a couple of years, and held the secondary Military Occupatuional Specialty of Cartographer for many years... but I am a bit rusty until I warm up a bit...
