We run them with a load once in a while, Bob. Always plenty of fresh gasoline around because there's no marina on our lake, so we have to carry gas. We just rotate the gas cans so it never gets old.

The peace of mind is worth a little effort once in a while.

The lake solves the number one problem: water. Larry Gwin brought it up several years ago, how many of his vet pals were living on or very near water. I think he's onto something. We appreciate how important water is, and how easily it can go away. And we know what it is to not have a drop of it.

Now the shelf life of ammo, that's another story...
