I happen to be a longtime fan of Ollie's. I even named one of my birds after him. I agree with Lump about his testimony before congress. I did a research project about it in college and read the whole thing. Very interesting stuff. I did watch it in 1987, but was still in high school and didn't appreciate the legal minefield he was walking through at the time. I have a much deeper appreciation for it now. Anyway, I'm glad you all liked the letter. I thought it was pretty appropriate. And John Kerry really doesn't want to try to take on Oliver North. He wouldn't stand a chance in a debate with him.
