Just got back from Panama City. Was there on business. Enroute I met 2 FL. National guard soldiers coming back from Iraq on 2 weeks leave. These were real vets. One (A platoon Sgt) had been in Nam, Desert storm and Iraq. The other, A sgt, (police officer in Civilian life) was Desert Storm and now Iraq2. Anyway, we were discussing the merits of the new squad automatic weapon (SAW). He liked it. He got pinned in an alley and got "32 of them" with it. He had a 200 round mag in the thing and wiped the alley clean.
I gave him my gator coin and thanked him for his service. I apologized to the old Platoon Sgt for not have another on me and thanked him also.
