Am still on duty in Cheyenne, Wyoming helping the Air Guard do security work.( Guarding C-130's)
We are suppose to get off this mission the end of November but I keep hearing rumors to the effect we will be here till 1 February 2005.
Half of my Guard unit was activated and are in Bagdad. I spoke with a friend of minelast week while we were Elk hunting as he will be the next Commander when they rotate in February and he asked me politely to go with him as his 1SG.Of course I like a dumb s--t said O.K.
Was planning on retiring from the military after this mission but this will be my last mission. Maybe I can make up for what we didn't get when we got back from the East. Just a little respect.
