Atlanta TX is just south of Texarkana. I have found three direct decendants of my family here in NE TX, along with about eight families in the Houston / Conroe area. My family started in the North Carolina in the 1680's with a grant from the King of England to the three Weissinger brothers, John, George, and James. Their decendants have settled to the South and West and they are scattered from NC to TX.
