Thirty-six times this day has arrived and each time I cry. The wound from your loss has healed but the scar still remains. It seem seems so unfair that you were only with us such a short time and now have been gone so long.

Maybe some day I will understand why you were the ones that paid the price this day. I hope you have arrived at a special place where there is peace and happiness. We have continued without you, but at times it's been hard. We have shared you with our children so that you will never be gone.

To our friends, I raise a toast on this day of days. Although you are gone, you will always be here with us.
