Just wanted to share in this time of remembering Gator 297. I have located a reel to reel tape Eddy had sent home. Part of it is understandable but there is a lot of distortion so, I am sending it to a tape restoration company to see if they can clean it up. I too thank all of you from the depth of my heart for the way you pitched in to help me try to put the pieces of that day together. I cannot know the feelings of a young man in a foreign country, fighting a war with little knowledge of why. Then to return home and be shunned by the same people you were defending. I am ashamed of the way America treated the U.S. soldiers of the Vietnam War. I know you deserve the highest honors. There is not a medal to give you that could express the thanks from my family for helping us find some closure to 21NOV68. Eddy'd wife, Brenda was grateful for the information you had shared. All we can say is "Thank You". I also pray that during these holiday's that each of you have a Christ-filled season. I do pray for each of you, that if there are any emotional wounds that have not been healed, that each of you allow the Lord to fill the voids in your heart and the peace in your mind.
