The one's who sat in the halls of government, IE, Hubert Hunphry, Geoirge McGovern et al, were the core of the old Henry Wallace Progressive party when it was communist dominated and they became the core of the New Democrats in 1968. While most were WW2 Vets, they were communist sympathizers and were determined to destroy the USA so they could rebuild it in the Socialist mould. They used that Anti war socialist led movement to destroy opposition within the democrat party and Isolate the Republican Party. They damned near got their wish. They comitted treason then and are trying it again today. I will not be happy till the lot of them are voted from every office in the land, and we rebuild the democrat party with American, not socialist values.
