Okay, all you movie stars out there--time to get digital cable service!
NORTH AMERICAN TELEVISION BROADCAST OF IN THE SHADOW OF THE BLADE is
set for Thursday, Feb 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET on the Discovery Military
Channel Network (formerly Discovery Wings)!

I'll be sending out the official press release later today or early
tomorrow, but wanted all our STARS to have the first word!

(The television version has been edited down for time from the
feature-length program and as a caveat I want you to know that we are
not sure exactly what they will cut. We had some input--we told them
that asking us to cut was like asking if we'd rather take off our left
pinky or our right ring finger--but the final word is theirs...it will
be interesting to us to see it also! I do know that the first hour
ends with COL Purcell's flight out of Demorest and the second hour
begins with the mother of all ITSOTB quotes--"The Huey is our mother"
by John Givhan.)

Soooooo...clear your schedules for 3 February...invite the family
over...get out the tissue box...crank up the volume...and WATCH
YOURSELVES ON TV!!!!

(And, oh by the way, you might get some phone calls for media
interviews. I hope so anyway.)

p.s. Discovery's acquisition gives them three years' rights, so the
show will likely run many times. So don't despair too much if you miss
