That's the crux of the matter. The core beliefs of the "redneck" and most americans are under attack in those jokes. that s why I go at folks for perpetuating that "lil Abner" sterotype. The left has made an industry of "Redneck" jokes since the 1970s and at the heart of it is not an attack on the hillbilly southerner but an attack on the core beliefs that stand between them and power for a socialist state. It began with a song called "Up against the wall you rednecked mutha" and has gone on from there. They are scared stiff of us. May they rot in some socialist hell far removed from America's shores!
