Okay, so last night I was reading to my wife Debbi part of a preface from a book I just picked up . The title is something like "If there is other life out there, where the hell are they?"

So I'm reading to her that even if this particular universe is finite and is as big as we think it may be, and if only one star in a billion has a planet with conditions even remotely similar to ours, then there are at least a trillion places where some kind of carbon-based life might develop.

I'm nodding and smiling and thinking this is pretty cool when she comments,
"So, there are assholes EVERYwhere?"

Gotta love that girl.
