There's a lot of growth down in the southern part, along the I-80 corridor, and Cheyenne is exploding in its continuing bid to become North Denver; but the rest of the state is declining in population. Here in the NW quadrant (except for the Cody area) you will see dozens of antelope and hundreds of deer for every person you see - and this is just on the highways! We drive down the road and bounce off the damn deer like the ball in a pinball machine - ping, bang, bump, bump. And 5 minutes after the first shot is fired on the first day of Hunting Season, every single one of them just flat disappears.
