Skids, Panels Etc.

Ok boys, I have located a few UH-1 and Cobra skids suitable for making bar rails. They are not to be flown. If need be I'll shoot holes in them. Anyway, I heard talk of some of you wanting a skid to make a bar rail for your home or veterans club bar. Skids are about 10 feet or so long and about 6 inches in Diameter. The Toe steps are missing.
I was at the foundry's aircraft junk pile yesterday in Memphis Tx and located half a dozen. If you want one let me know. YOU must pay the Packaging and shipping costs to where ever you want to use it and I am sure that will cost a penny or two but the Skid is free to 119th members who want to use one till the supply (3 maybe more?) is gone. I am reserving 3 for the museum, VHPA and VHCMA to make diorama bars or traveling bars in the future.
I also have located a lot of stuff (Panels etc) but no more T/R chains. looks like that hole is dry. I did find an old rusty T/R Sprocket and mount. There is a nice vertical fin off a cobra or C model, with a 1'st cav patch on it just laying there. That's a BIG sucker when unmounted and laying on the ground. There were several barrels and piles that have a promising look, but at present rattlesnakes and fireants own the barrels and piles so a closer look will be made come mid-winter.
