the other Carl yep he did, as my father was one of the toughest I ever knew. In WW-2 my dad was hurt over at camp Gruber OK. and for 6 months he was in a body cast (yep you guessed it spinal injury) and he was running and jumping within a year after being discharged from the military in 1942.. worked damn near every day until he retired in 1975, worked almost 45 years for the City Utilities Water Dept. here in Springfield, there was some days I know he hurt so bad, he just kept putting one foot in front of the other. so when you say tough stock, I know for a fact he did, and I see the same determination in Paul jr. sorry for the letter, just had to set the facts straight... paul sr
