Bob K,I grew up there and just across the border in Gate City Va. My family was there in Va. when D. Boone came thru on his way to KY. As a matter of fact, Boone spent a year or so with parts of my family in Va. before he moved on to Ky. after his son was killed by da injuns near our farm. We came to Va. in 1635. all that said, THAT'S exactly why I live in Texas. But I still like to rattle their pompus cage once in a while-) LOL
