The black eye that we were given was generally done by "THE GREATEST GENERATION" (BS) they were the one's in congress that limited our actions and then withdrew the monies necessary to fight. Then, when we got home and went to the VFW, "THE GREATEST GENERATION" told us that they were ashamed of us for losing our war. WE WERE WINNING WHEN I LEFT, and "THEY" pulled the plug causing our withdrawal, and "THEY" are trying to do it again now with their demands for withdrawal from Iraq. I have said this to several members of "THE GREATEST GENERATION" and I have received a mixed response, but most now accept the fact that we were honorable in our service and we as individuals did not lose "our war."
