On the subjectof women I'm just trying to keep the first lady under fifty.
May have to rethink this strategy though due to the cost.

On the subject of hootch destruction its simple really. A lot to drink celebrating going home. Somewhat out of control and kicking a post down that was holding up the roof to the hootch. I thought I was in my own hootch too but can't confirm that. By the way I wasn't the only one going home the next day or the only one who had to stay an extra day. Can't remember who the other guy was that had to go to see the CO the next day.
I can't remember much else except visions of pistols and M14s and people talking loudly.

This was the end of Oct 1967.

On the question of beer.....I have no "good" experiences with alcohol so I drink the light stuff when its hot and I'm thirsty and that's been the routine for 38 years. Works for me!
