Why is it that during a crisis I see the damned red cross all over TV asking for money,and am told they have "Local volunteers" in public shelters but never an arm band or cross, or any other indication that they are about and spending the money donated. Yet for several days now on TV in Mississippi, Alabama and parts of louisiana I have seen Salvation Army trucks in the background helping out. tell ya what... I'll give to the red cross when hell freezes over. Tomorrow I am giving 100 dollars to my local Salvation Army for their use in the effort.
