: Armed and dangerous in Annona!

Dear Armed:

The Boston Sunday Globe yesterday was full of letters and one paid column, all by tippy-toe "gun control" liberals (there happen to be more than a few of their ilk in eastern Mass.) talking about well, guns. Strangely, they seem to have changed their minds. Overnight.

The looters they saw on their teevees, the mostly black folks who were just simply taking whatever they wanted from the nice white folks (even though the nice Louisiana white folks looked to be sensitive, touchy-feely white folks just like the folks in eastern Massachusetts), have made them change their minds about, heaven forbid, GUN ownership.

They wrote to and for the Globe to suggest that it might be okay maybe for nice touchy-feely white folks in Massachusetts (the state with the most restrictive gun laws in the USA) to consider ARMING THEMSELVES just to be prepared in case some similar disaster were to befall their little piece of heaven and the less-fortunate folks who live all around the nice white folks in eastern Mass. also turn into looters overnight, just like their brothers did in Louisiana. Apparently, the writers got fraidy-scared and decided in a few short days that the use of deadly force in the defense of tippy-toe kneejerk liberal property is now justified. Defense of their property, in other words.

They are damned nervous all of a sudden, and they are writing to newspapers and whining about it, which is about all they can think of to do. It's great, and it is going to be fun to watch over the next months and years.
