I agree with everything you said 100%. Fact, that
isn't a poem, and there's nothing poetic about it. It has no value to literature, culture, education or anything else of value. If there were one grain of truth in it, Pres. Bush would have to be the single most powerful and influential Pres. this country has ever had. Only
a comlete moron would believe and repeat the trash some of these idiots come up with. While a great number of us are trying to build something
worthwhile, there's always these idiots trying to
tear it down. They are the reson our country is in the amount of turmoil it has today because they're constantly trying to tear down what this
country was founded on: God, Family, Freedom with
ethics and morality. To listen to these idiots, the Pres. is the tyrant, not Saddam Hussein, and the hurricane was created by the Pres., not God. I can just see the moms, dads, brothers and sisters of the revolutionary soldiers telling George Washington to stop fighting. I can just see the mother of a dead soldier demonstrating at
the gates of Mount Vernon and getting away with it. having lived in New Orleans for 9 years, I know what the city is like, and I know it is one of the most politically corrupt cities in America. Did any of these morons ever stop to think there just might be a reason why this vile,
immoral and corrupt place got hit when, why and how it did? Did any of these morons stop to wonder where the mayor was during the storm and why he did nothing to get those poor people out of the city. They didn't have to be there. Since when did the protection of New Orleans become the responsibility of all the taxpayers of the US. I lived there. I left and for good reason. Anyone else could too. Now, that doesn't mean we shouldn't and won't help them, which we are, in greater amounts than any other event in the history of the US. It's time we started sorting out the true Americans and quit all the whining BS. I am proud to have served. I'm proud to have a son that's serving right now. I'm proud to be an American, and I'm proud of each and every one of the guys that I served with and those on this site and every one of the responses to that piece
of drivel that wouldn't be good enough to wipe my
butt with.
