Thanks for the e Tom, I will reply to the web-site, just want all the roar to
come in to just do it once. My opinions are not nearly as "socialist" as the
group may think and I will endeavor to clear that up. What got me going was
the "execute the journalists" statement, what next, book burning? I do try
not to judge anyone as a group, no matter what their leanings, but I do abhor
radicals, whether left, right, Christian, Muslin, black or white.

Well hell, guess I will go on.
I do not hate GW, I think he has made some terrible mistakes.
1. The war in Iraq.

a. The reason, WMD's, was not substantiated by anyone's intelligence.

b. Iraq's connection with 9/11 was non existent other than it being

a Muslim country.

c. Yes, Sadam should/could have been snuffed along with all of his

comrades although his brutality was probably the only thing keeping

quagmire together.

d. The perpetrator of 9/11 is still at large.

e. There have been more terrorists created by our policies, namely thewar

in Iraq, than would have happened under any other scenario that I can

think of. The possibility of an operating democracy in that part of

is slim to none, they don't think like us.

No, I do and have not ever supported the war in Iraq or our governments reason
for starting it. I do however support our troops and would willingly kill,
again dammit, and put myself at risk, to keep one more of them from being
killed or wounded.

2. Hurricane response.

a. Yes, it was a failure at ALL levels of government. But why was such

an inept, unqualified, and incompetent person in charge of FEMA?

Politics verging on corruptness.

b. No, Bush did not create the hurricane, but it has been foreseen for

years. The response was verging on criminal in my opinion, a lot

passing the buck and bureaucratic finger pointing. About 5 each,

equivalents of Yellow & Blue flights could have been on scene as

soon as the wind slowed and started rescue efforts as well as

hauled shitters, water and basic food to and removed people,shit,

etc. from the Super Dome and Convention Center immediately instead

of 4 or 5 days later. Thats a long time to get your act together.

c. No, I cannot truly say that anyone could have done it better, but

the way it was done was a disgrace and heads should roll. (figure

of speech)

Anyway, thanks again for the e, I'll try to copy this to the webb site, if it
dosen't go, please feel free to forward it on. In no way will our perceived
differences in political leaning lessen the high regard that I hold for each and every one of you that fought and died while serving with the 119th AHC.

Oh and by the way, no, I did not research the writer of that poem, and it was even a bit strong for my taste, I did think it had some valid points that should not be swept under the rug. If I don't respond immediately, it is because I still must work to make ends meet but I will not make "hit and runs", that only works well in war.
