Thank you for the compliment.

All I did was state facts that I have learned from the News, Internet, and documents that have been about the trouble in the Middle East. One has to look at history rather than a single slice of time, or a single incident, or action. The history generally provides the background for the actions taken.

Remember, history is like a wheel. Put a check mark on the rim and that check mark will return to the ground as the wheel turns. Those that fail to recognize history or learn from it are doomed to repeat the same problems again and again. Only learning history and taking actions to prevent incidents from repeating will break a sequence of events.

Hell many of the Muslims are still angry about the crusades that happened in the 1100's. The Muslims keep forgetting that the encroachment of the Muslims into the lands from the Dardanelles to France and Spain are what caused the Pope to declare the Holy War and the Crusades. The Muslims have forgotten that their movement to the East is what caused the problem in the first place, and it was not Europe's desire to free the Holy Lands.

With that in mind one would have to go back to the times when the Greeks and Persians were at war. One would also have to go to the times of the Iliad and the Odyssey when the more learned tribes were the one's who traveled to foreign lands to trade. One would also have to remember the wars of Alexander the Great. Then again, why aren't the Muslims pissed at the orientals, remember Genghis Khan made his little foray from the lands of the Far East into the land of the Persians and then on to Russia and portions of Europe. Do you think that is written in their history? Do you think that they forgot those facts? Remember Genghis Khan was the most ruthless warrior of all times, he raised entire cultures. Do you think that the Muslims might remember Genghis Khan and they are trying to emulate his actions?

History and thorough research is what prevents problems. Now perspective is another story, because from the perspective of the Muslims the world is their oyster, and they are supposed to take over the world and eliminate the infidels.

Religion is another story. The Muslim religion is based on Christianity, but because the Koran was written after the initial bible, they feel that it is more "up to date",more "current" and more "valid". But then again perspective plays a big role. There is their perspective and the perspective of others. Who here among us can say and prove that our religion, or any religion for that fact is 100% right? I would say that any proof would be based on that damned old perspective.

Who is right? Your guess is as good as mine.
