Nationally the crime rate has nose dived the past 10 years and the media has given credit to everything EXCEPT the fact that most states have enacted laws to permit their citizens to be armed again. It seems the 30% reduction in Texas began when citzens started carrying concealed firearms and also started shooting intruders, muggers and robbers. Crime has not dropped nearly as much in those states that have strict Anti- gun laws socialist governments.
