Thanks Paul. I wish you guys could know more of the characters in it. Larry Gwin is one you might not recognize. There are several shots of him walking with Joel Sugdinis, CO of A/2/7 and some other guys from that company. Sgt John Eade, with the eye patch; the dinks tried to execute him and couldn't get it done. When he woke up he kept right on fighting. Bill Beck, machine gunner who held one flank at X-Ray by himself for over two hours. Will Parish, who held another flank all night with an empty M-60, but with a .45 pistol in each hand and an assistant gunner loading magazines for him from a crate of ammo in the bottom of their foxhole. They counted over 100 NVA dead around his hole in the morning.

Big guy walking between Genl Moore and Joe Galloway is Ed "Too Tall" Freeman, MOH. Bruce Crandall, with the Engineer brass on his stetson. Jon Wallenius, of the great "pop-up target" story from the book. Sam Fantino, who was Rick Rescorla's RTO, did everything Rescorla did except from five feet behind him. Almost all of the rest are names you would recognize from Joe's book.

They were approaching Panel 3-East; there are 305 Cav names there from the Ia Drang fights in 1965. And four others are our Croc crew from Oct65 at Plei Me SF camp, one of the preliminary bouts to the Cav's X-Ray and Albany fights.
